he definitly likes you. my current boyfriend started texting me when i didn't know him and he told me he had planned that so i think the case is the same for you. it sounds like he likes you and was serious. i would say go to a movie or something and hang out and figure out if you like him, because why date someone you don't like? just give him another chance:)
